Arizona Immigration Law Headed For Showdown With The Obama Administration

On April 20, 2010 Arizona passed a state law saying it would be a crime for illegal immigrants not to have the appropriate documents. The reason for this law's passage through the Arizona legislature is the killing of Arizona farmer by an illegal immigrant. Also the state has an estimated over 400,00 illegal immigrants in the state now. Arizona is doing this because of the failure of the federal government to do anything to stop illegal immigration.

Today president Obama went to Phoenix, AZ and gave a speech saying the law was misguided and could violate people's civil rights. He is going to have the Justice Department look into if this law is legal. We know what will happen there with Eric Holder in charge of the Justice Department. First let me say if you are illegally you don't have the same rights as American citizens including civil rights. By being here you are breaking US immigration laws. The other problem I have President Obama is that he thinks illegal immigrants and terrorist have the same rights as American citizens under our Constitution but they do not. Rights under our Constitution are given to American citizens and immigrants who came here legally and became citizens.

The Arizona Immigration Bill would allow law enforcement to question anyone that appears to be here illegally. I personally don't believe that this a violation of my rights or anyones rights. This bill also lets lawsuits come against government agencies that hinder the enforcement of this law. My position something needs to be done on illegal immigration and protection of the US-Mexican border. This law in Arizona came about because of the failure of the federal government to do anything about illegal immigration.

I have a problem with how the federal government looks like they want to handle illegal immigration. The Administration and congressional democrats want to grant amnesty to all illegal immigrants in the US now. This is wrong because they should have to use the same process as people who legally immigrate here from other countries. This is making it easier for the illegal immigrants and leaves it harder for the people who immigrate here legally. What needs to happen is that the illegal immigrants to follow current immigration laws to come here to the US. Also the immigration laws to need to fixed so that it doesn't take so long, cost so much money, and have so much bureaucratic red tape. The reason I say this know someone who immigrated here from Russia and did by laws and it was very difficult and now we want to just grant amnesty to illegal immigrants. That is just wrong.

One thing of many that has made this country so great was having people here from all over the world. The thing is that in the past most immigrants came here legally as opposed to today were we have approximately 12 million illegal immigrants here now. When you immigrant here legally you become an American citizen not just German-American, Italian-American, and Russian-American. WE all in this country are Americans.

My hope is that federal government will help the states on the southern border. If it takes the use of National Guard troops then do it. Something needs to be done now. The time for politics has ended on this issue because illegal immigration is out of control. I hope that something is done soon and very soon or I see things getting worse on the US-Mexican border.

Healthcare Reform

I have worked in the healthcare field for 22 years now. Yes there are things in healthcare that need to be fixed but the system doesn't need to be overhauled or controled by the government. We see now how government can not run a program effecently or fiscally sound. I just say look at medicare and social security which are on the way to become bankrupt soon. Also medicaid is not run well also. We have the best healthcare system in the world and there is no need to ruin it with a government run healthcare system.

If congress was to curb the abuse and fraud in the medicare and medicaid programs there could be at least a $800 billion savings which some could go to help the uninsured get health insurence. There are other things that can be done to fix the healthcare system also. There can be tort reform which could also save billions of dollars. Private insurence companies could be allowed to sell accross state lines. There can be tax credits even to people to help buy health insurence. All of these ideas I support and have been brought up by the republicans but regeted by liberal democrats in congress and the Obama Administration. President Obama wants bipartism support now then he has to be willings to adopt some of the ideas of the reprublicans.

I see the abuse and fraud in the federal programs everyday at work. As I said we need to fix the problems in healthcare not overhaul it with government control. if you give business and the private sector the chance and help them the healthcare system can be fixed and we lower premiums and help lower the national debt.

All of this spending that is occuring now in Washington is going to do more harm to the economy and than help it. I say just look back to what President Reagan did for the economy back when he took office.

In this country healthcare is not a right or to be forced on anyone to buy with fines to be imposed if a person doesn't buy insurence. The constitution doesn't say the government is to provide healthcare for everyone.

The top of this blog I wrote before healthcare reform was past. I know that the healthcare reform bill that was just past is going to do more harm than good. I have worked in the healthcare field for many years and yes it does have things that need to be fixed but not overhauled like it has been now.

This healthcare is not going to lower healthcare cost at all. What it is going to do is raise cost in many areas of healthcare. The people that have healthcare insurance with a company will be able to keep it true but what they pay is going to be going up. From the rich to the middle class taxes are going to be going up in an attempt to pay for this bill. The thing is that there is not enough taxes to do that and pay for it and make it deficit neutral. The cutting of Medicare by $500 billion dollars is not going to help at all. What this is going to do is pay doctors less, pay hospitals and cut benefits to seniors. There is no way you can say you going to cover 32 million more people and there will be no cost increase at all.

Another thing that is going to be happening is that doctor are going to be retiring early, quiting their practices and less people going to school to become doctors. I know that this is true because I have talked to many doctors and have received the same answer from them.

The reason why people in this country are so upset about this bill is because they can see all of this happening in time. The democrats just rammed this through because it was an entitlement they have always wanted and it was was the big Obama program he wanted to get passed. They new they had to do it now while they had such a great majority.

What needs to happen now is that Republicans need to run on how they are going to repeal and replace this bill. What they need to do is tell the people what they are going to take out of the bill. They also need to let the people know what they are going to be doing to fix the bill. I believe the republican ideas are they right ideas. In November we need to return the House ans Senate in congress back over to the Republicans.

We are on the right road to returning this country to were it should be with the Tea Party Movement. This movement is returning us to our true conservative values. When Republicans stuck to their true conservative values this country flourished. I just point to the Reagan Years. I can also point to the Clinton years when he worked with Newt Gingrich to get this country headed toward a balanced budget.

I also believe another Contract With America witch all republicans sign off on is needed like in 1994 with Newt Gingrich.

Faith In God Should Always Be First In Your Life As Our Founding Fathers Did

I was reading a post that a dear friend of mine wrote and it touched me deeply. This is the link to the post http://ow.ly/1vmvp. Please read this post before reading my thoughts on what she wrote.

A person should always have God first in their life. God will always be there for you and provide for your your needs all you need is faith in him. There is no power greater than the faith in God. I will give a quick summery of scripture my friend quoted from Luke 12: 22-34.

In this scripture Jesus is talking to his disciples. He is telling them that what you do not have God will provide for you. All you need in faith in God. Nations in the world world seek things but you do not need these things all you need to do is seek "the kingdom of God." By doing this God will provide for you. Jesus says also that you don't need the material world you need faith in God and he will be with you always in your heart.

My friend is right we do need to worry about our government now. The leaders in Congress and this Administration have this great country of ours headed toward socialism and communism. We as a people need to stand together and fight this so that we can keep our country as it always has been and intended to be by our Founding Fathers.

If our Founding Fathers saw what is happening now it would destroy them because this is not what they intended when they where building this country and government. Our founding Father always had God first and foremost in their lives and this is how they formed our government. Let me give you a few great quotes from them:

As you can see here by these few quotes God was first and foremost in their lives and this is how they formed this great country and made our government. What is happening now in Washington is making out Founding Fathers turn over in their graves.

We can all make sacrifices in our lives if we want to no matter how busy we are or what we are doing in our lives.

Why The Obama Administration And Democrats Ignore The Economy And Jobs

When I was watching the State Of Union Address President Obama said it was time to focus on the economy and jobs. Since this address to the American people he has done everything up focus on the economy and jobs. It was just amazing to see him just go right back to healthcare like he did but I know why he did because that is his signature legislation that he wanted past. He believed that his Presidency was dependant on the passage of healthcare.

If President Obama wanted to see how the econmy could be helped he should just look back to President Reagan's econmy and see how he turned that economy around. Reagan's economy was worse than Obama's. Reagan had double didget inflation and unemployment. Reagan's view on fixing the economy was to help the economy get back on tract. He knew government wasn't the answer to the economy getting back on tract he knew that it was the private sector and small business. What he did was cur taxes on business to help them start making products and hiring more people. He cut the top marginal income tax rate from 70% to 28%. He lessened restrictions on business so they could operate better and produce more jobs. Reagan knew how capitalism worked and knew that our economy is based on capitalism which made it the best working economy in the world. He knew once the private sector got going again the economy would inprove and jobs would be produced by small business. If I remember correctly Reagan did a reversal of the tax treatment on small business. This was accomplished by reducing the tax bias among types of investments and increasing taxes on new investments.

Now let me tell you the basis of Reagan's economic policies which were called "Reaganomics." In reaganomics there are 4 principles to his economic policy which were to:

1. reduce government regulation on the economy,

2. control the money supply to reduce inflation,

3. reduce government spending,

4. reduce income and capital gains marginal rate,

By doing all of this Reagan wanted to increase domestic spending while lowering taxes.

Let just describe the economy as Reagan entered his first term in office. There was double digit inflation around 12% and double digit unemployment around 10.8%. His goal to stimulate the poor economy was to cut taxes across the board. All of this that I have just explained is "Reaganomics."

In summery on how Reagan's economic policies turned the economy around are as follows. His economic policies took unemployment from 10.8% to 7.5% and took inflation from around 12% in 1980 to 4.1% by 1988. The GDP under Reagan had 5 quarters of growth at 8.5% after the 1982 recession and then through Reagan's Administration at GDP grew at 9.4% a year. Under Reagan 16 million new jobs were produced.

President Reagan's economic policies and changes brought about one of the largest peacetime expansions in US history.

If President Obama wanted to actually learn how to stimulate the economy and produce jobs he could look back to Reagan to learn something about from a man who knew how to do it. He would see all over this government spending and taxing is only going to hurt the economy and prolong the recession. It will not help the private sector produce jobs either.

With the economy the way it is now makes me want Reagan back now. It is amazing the stark contrast of a conservative and liberal on how they want to help the economy and run the government.

The Weakening Of The United States National Defenses By President Obama

In just the past week President Obama has made this country look week on defense. This is where he has made the United States look weak:

1. His new nuclear weapons stategy,

2. The banning of certain terms from the national Security Document,

3. The nuclear weapons treaty signed with Russia,

4. If the US is attacked with chemical or biological weapons that the nuclear option is off the table for retaliation.

The combination of all of these together make this country look weak to it's enemies around the world. You need to look strong to your enemies to prevent attacks against this country and its people here and abroad around the world. President Bush kept this country safe from attack for 8 years after 9/11 there was no attack on US soil. President Bush took the fight to the terrorists. In just president Obama's first year in office there were to attacks in this country which were the shooting at Fort Hood and the Christmas Day bomber. These were small attacks but it shows that terrorist do not fear president Obama in what he might do as they Feared president Bush. I fear that before President Obama is out of Office there will be a big attack on US soil. I pray this doesn't happen by I do fear it more as he weakens our national defenses.

In his nuclear weapons strategy which will reverse 65 years of US nuclear weapons policy. This will lessons the deterrence factor that US has by having the nuclear weapons. By lessoning its deterrence factor it allows the US to be more vulnerable to attack by nuclear states and soon be nuclear states or would be nuclear states. His idea for doing this is to keep terrorist from acquiring nuclear weapons is naive at best. This will not stop countries like Iran from trying to squire nuclear weapons or halt North Korea from continuing to build its nuclear arsenal. I ran has already shunned this and his going to continue its pursuit of nuclear weapons. As for North Korea history shows what they are going to do. This new strategy is only going to embolden the groups that threaten the US. Also while also while campaigning for president he had a hezbolah security detail protect him while he was in the middle east, this would explain some of his nuclear policy that he developed.

I say just look back to the Cold War between the United States and Russia. The biggest deterrent each had was it's nuclear weapons arsenal. Each knew what would happen if these weapons were used and this kept them from ever being used. The problem with this Administration is that it is taking away this countries capabilities when it needs them most.

Now for the banning of certain terms from the National Security Strategy document. The terms that were banded from this document are Islam and Jihad. These terms were put in there by the Bush Administration so that you would know who your enemy was by showing what specific group of terrorist were being targeted. This was showing no disrespect to the Muslim people or their countries. There are radical groups in the Muslim world which are out to destroy America and Israel. They are a radical part of the Muslim people. by saying this you are not referring to all Muslim people. These terrorist go by these terms so they need to be used to describe them. You need to know who your enemy is and that is what this id doing by singling out a specific group in the Muslim world. by eliminating theses terms is going to make it harder for us to describe who our enemy is and who we are fighting against.

By eliminating these terms it is not going to make the US look better in the Muslim and countries. It is actually going to make the US look weaker in the Muslim world. The terrorist which now fear us less will be more embolden to try to attack us more. Look at Pakistan which is a Muslim country helping us in our fight against the Taliban. What are they going to think about this.

Let me set the record straight in one other area and that is President Obama was not the first to invent Muslim outreach. Guess who it was lets see oh my it was President Bush who is so criticized so unjustly by the Obama Administration. President Bush gave the white house its first copy of the Quran and also host the first ever at the white house Iftar dinner to celebrate the Muslim holiday of Ramadan. present Bush always stated support for all democratic Muslim countries. This is why I say President Obama is headed in the wrong direction with this policy change.

The new Treaty signed with Russia over cutting back its nuclear arsenal by a 1/3. This will be a big deterrent lost by both countries. It will cut the arsenal to 1,550 per country which would be down from the current level of 2,200. President Obama is saying this a deterrent it is not but a weakening of deterrence. To be able to be deterrent you need to show your strength not your weakness.

Now to be telling your enemies how you would retaliate if attacked is crazy. You never show your hand or eliminate certain things you have to use in a retaliation. This is a big fear of mine that if attacked he might not even retaliate. I fear he will try to negotiate. There is one he has not learned yet you can not negotiate with a terrorist or play by rules. The terrorist do neither against you. The idea to say if the US was attacked by chemical or biological weapons that nuclear weapons are off the table for retaliation is crazy. The fact is chemical and biological weapons can kill thousands of people and it doesn't take much. God forbid the US is ever attacked with one of these weapons.

To me all of these policies of President Obama are significantly weakening this countries national defense. It is also making us more vulnerable to attack. I am praying that we do not get attacked but I am very fearful of it right now.

I will never understand how democrats think by cutting you military defense makes you stronger to the rest of the world. Before President Bush could retaliate for 9/11 he had to build up the military in areas that had been cut by President Clinton.

This is my opinion on all of this that President Obama is doing and it is just making this country weak and more vulnerable to attack. I believe his radical past has influenced him developing the policies here that he has made. It is also my belief in my heart that he is a Muslim.

The Road To Socialism With President Obama

In looking back at history that President Obama is the most radical president in US history. He believes government is the answer to and that government should control every aspect of society. He is putting the US on tract to having an economy as in Europe which he favors. Here are the areas where I see him leading us to a form of European Socialism

1. How he handled Chrysler ,
2. Control of banks that took Tarp money,
3. education,
4. cap-and-trade,
5. healthcare,
6. VAT(value added tax).

Lets look a little at what President Obama did with Chrysler. When they were going to file for bankruptcy he stepped in and made a deal with the UAW in all essence giving most of the company to the UAW. By he government giving Chrysler money to stay out of bankruptcy put its creditors at a disadvantage. Most of these creditors had already taken money from Tarp. This basically ment the government was controlling them also.

Now for the banks who took money from the Tarp fund. By taking this money they had to relinquish control to the government. The government took control of how much CEO's and executives would get paid. In essence the government now controlled banks that took Tarp money.

In education the government took control of all the student loan programs. The government took these loans away from the banks that were providing them. Now we have the government starting to control education.

For the biggest take over was in healthcare. The government here is starting to run the healthcare system by dictating how things will be done. The healthcare system is 1/6 of the US economy. The government is dictating what companies can charge. Also government is telling American people without health insurance they will have to buy health insurance or they will be fined. This first time in US history were the government has told its citizens has to do something or face a penalty. The government will be controlling healthcare in the private sector.

With cap-and-trade which he still has not passed through congress and i hope he is not able to. This is where the government plans to control the energy companies by dictating how they have run in respect to emissions into the environment. If the companies don't comply or meet these standards the will be fined with huge tax. All the taxes on the energy companies will just be passed back down to the consumer.

So in all essence what does all this sound like government control of business. So here is a basic definition of socialism broad set of economic theories of social organization advocating state ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods. Obama is trying to control certain major aspects of the economy. The biggest way the government can control the economy is through government spending itself. The way this works is the more the government spends the more it controls the economy. President Obama's budget is the biggest in history. He is trying to plan and control banking and financial services, automobiles, energy, and health care. To me this sounds like socialism. This is the beginnings of making the US economy into what Europe has which President Obama favors. Also the Obama administration is considering the VAT(value added tax). All of the European countries use this tax to pay for all their entitlement programs. This tax is a way to bring in a large amount of money through taxes. This tax is levied on the production of goods and products by a company. For an example a 10% VAT in the US would bring in $1 trillion dollars a year. The reason why governments like this tax is because it is hidden in the production of goods. The companies do in the end pass it on to the consumer by raising its prices on the products that they produce.
This is how I believe President Obama is a socialist just by his actions in how he has governed so far as President.
